Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). The server automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. This includes: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free operation of the website).

Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to collect anonymous usage statistics. No cookies are used and no personal data is collected or stored.
Waitlist sign-up
If you join our launch waitlist, we store the email address you provide, together with the date, the page you signed up from, and your language, on a server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). We use it to send you occasional fiber guides, a notification when our product launches (along with your early-access invite and the discount you locked in), and news about the products we develop. We never sell your address and never share it with unrelated third parties. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We keep your address until you ask us to remove it or until we stop sending these messages. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@goodfibercompany.com, or via the unsubscribe link in any message, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Our products are developed and sold under their own product brand names, which differ from the name of this website. The data controller named above remains responsible for your data in either case, and messages about those products are sent on the same legal basis and are covered by the same consent and the same unsubscribe link.
